The Language of Flowers

For centuries, flowers have quietly carried meaning - symbols of emotion, memory, celebration and human connection gathered across generations.

The tradition of associating flowers with birth months dates back to ancient Roman times, when birthdays were celebrated with seasonal blooms and floral offerings. Much later, during the Victorian era, these meanings became more deeply woven into the language of flowers, with individual blooms used to express sentiments that words often could not.

Beyond their visual beauty, these flowers hold stories, emotions and associations that feel deeply personal. What I love most about birth flowers is the sense of connection they create.
